Sura 71: Noah
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ayet Numarası: 71.1
Ayet Konusu
انا ارسلنا نوحا الى قومه ان انذر قومك من قبل ان ياتيهم عذاب اليم
We sent Noah to his people: “You shall warn your people before a painful retribution afflicts them.”
Ayet Numarası: 71.2
Ayet Konusu
قال يا قوم اني لكم نذير مبين
He said, “O my people, I am a manifest warner to you.
Ayet Numarası: 71.3
Ayet Konusu
ان اعبدوا الله واتقوه واطيعون
“To alert you that you shall worship GOD, reverence Him, and obey me.
Ayet Numarası: 71.4
Ayet Konusu
يغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم الى اجل مسمى ان اجل الله اذا جاء لا يؤخر لو كنتم تعلمون
“He will then forgive you your sins and respite you for a predetermined period. Most assuredly, GOD’s appointment can never be delayed, once it is due, if you only knew.”

قال رب اني دعوت قومي ليلا ونهارا
He said, “My Lord, I have invited my people night and day.

فلم يزدهم دعائي الا فرارا
“But my invitation only increased their aversion.
Ayet Numarası: 71.7
Ayet Konusu
واني كلما دعوتهم لتغفر لهم جعلوا اصابعهم في اذانهم واستغشوا ثيابهم واصروا واستكبروا استكبارا
“Whenever I invited them to be forgiven by You, they placed their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their clothes, insisted, and turned arrogant.

ثم اني دعوتهم جهارا
“Then I invited them publicly.
Ayet Numarası: 71.9
Ayet Konusu
ثم اني اعلنت لهم واسررت لهم اسرارا
“Then I proclaimed to them loudly, and I spoke to them privately.

Ayet Konusu
فقلت استغفروا ربكم انه كان غفارا
“I said, ‘Implore your Lord for forgiveness; He is Forgiving.

Ayet Konusu
يرسل السماء عليكم مدرارا
“ ‘He will then shower you generously with rain.
Ayet Numarası: 71.12
Ayet Konusu
ويمددكم باموال وبنين ويجعل لكم جنات ويجعل لكم انهارا
“ ‘And provide you with money and children, and orchards, and streams.’ ”

Ayet Konusu
ما لكم لا ترجون لله وقارا
Why should you not strive to reverence GOD?
Ayet Numarası: 71.14
Ayet Konusu
وقد خلقكم اطوارا
He is the One who created you in stages.

Ayet Konusu
الم تروا كيف خلق الله سبع سماوات طباقا
Do you not realize that GOD created seven universes in layers?
Ayet Numarası: 71.16
Ayet Konusu
وجعل القمر فيهن نورا وجعل الشمس سراجا
He designed the moon therein to be a light, and placed the sun to be a lamp.

Ayet Konusu
والله انبتكم من الارض نباتا
And GOD germinated you from the earth like plants.
Ayet Numarası: 71.18
Ayet Konusu
ثم يعيدكم فيها ويخرجكم اخراجا
Then He returns you into it, and He will surely bring you out.

Ayet Konusu
والله جعل لكم الارض بساطا
GOD made the earth habitable for you.
Ayet Numarası: 71.20
Ayet Konusu
لتسلكوا منها سبلا فجاجا
That you may build roads therein.

Ayet Konusu
قال نوح رب انهم عصوني واتبعوا من لم يزده ماله وولده الا خسارا
Noah said, “My Lord, they disobeyed me, and followed those who were even more corrupted when blessed with money and children.

ومكروا مكرا كبارا
“They schemed terrible schemes.
Ayet Numarası: 71.23
Ayet Konusu
وقالوا لا تذرن الهتكم ولا تذرن ودا ولا سواعا ولا يغوث ويعوق ونسرا
“They said, ‘Do not abandon your gods. Do not abandon Wadd, Suwaa‘, Yaghouth, Ya‘ooq, and Nasr.

Ayet Konusu
وقد اضلوا كثيرا ولا تزد الظالمين الا ضلالا
“They misled many. Therefore, let the wicked plunge deeper into loss.”

Ayet Konusu
مما خطيئاتهم اغرقوا فادخلوا نارا فلم يجدوا لهم من دون الله انصارا
Because of their sins they were drowned and assigned to the hellfire. They found no helpers to protect them from GOD.

Ayet Konusu
وقال نوح رب لا تذر على الارض من الكافرين ديارا
Noah also said, “My Lord, do not leave a single disbeliever on earth.
Ayet Numarası: 71.27
Ayet Konusu
انك ان تذرهم يضلوا عبادك ولا يلدوا الا فاجرا كفارا
“For if you let them, they will only mislead your servants and give birth to nothing but wicked disbelievers.
Ayet Numarası: 71.28
Ayet Konusu
رب اغفر لي ولوالدي ولمن دخل بيتي مؤمنا وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات ولا تزد الظالمين الا تبارا
“My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and anyone who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. But do not give the disbelievers anything but annihilation.”
